The Christian Home
What is a home? A roof to keep out the rain? Four walls to keep out the wind? Floors to keep out the cold? These are descriptions of a house–this is a study of the home. It’s the cry of the baby, the song of the mother, the strength of the father, the warmth of loving hearts, the light from happy eyes, kindness, loyalty, and fun. A home is the first school and church for young ones, where they learn what is right and what is good and what is kind; where they go for comfort; where joy is shared and sorry is eased.
The Christian Home explores the Bible’s teachings on the traditional family. Participants will discuss the roles of husbands and wives, parents and children, and the role of faith in the home. Before the study begins, please be sure to let people know about it through advertising, newsletters, announcements in church bulletins, and more. You can create a Facebook group where participants can discuss the sessions and share prayer requests. You can send emails and text messages, and more.
